Terms and conditions
You must be 18 years or older to use the service. The valuation service begins when you have completed all required fields on the first page of the form, accepted these terms, and clicked the "ORDER VALUATION" button.
When the valuation service has begun with your explicit consent, the right of withdrawal lapses in accordance with Section 5 below.
The total price for the valuation, including delivery by SMS, email and regular post, is €75.00 including taxes, duties, postage and other costs.
§ 1. Provider
Valuation services ordered through this website are performed by Caarfax Systems LLC.
§ 2. Valuation and notice to the customer
The customer will normally receive information about the vehicle's estimated value within 24 hours by SMS and email.
Caarfax Systems LLC's obligations to the customer are limited to performing the ordered valuation service in accordance with these terms.
All enquiries regarding valuations must be made via the contact form on autovurdering.com.
§ 3. Delivery
SMS, valuation certificate and other relevant documents are sent electronically as PDF files by email within 24 hours on business days.
Valuation certificate, printed checklist, buy-and-sell guide and purchase/sale agreement with embossed seal are sent together in a folder by regular post and are expected to arrive within 2–5 business days.
Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control are reserved, including postal delivery, incorrect or incomplete address details, and loss or delay of mail.
§ 4. Price and payment
The price for one valuation is €75.00 including postage, packaging, taxes and other duties.
The price includes the valuation and delivery by SMS, email and regular post and covers all costs associated with the ordered valuation service.
Invoice is issued on credit and is due no later than 14 days after delivery of the valuation.
§ 5. Right of withdrawal
The customer generally has a 14-day right of withdrawal.
If the customer expressly requests and consents to the valuation service beginning before the withdrawal period expires, the right of withdrawal lapses when the valuation service has begun.
§ 6. Basis for the valuation
Valuations are based on the private market for used cars and transactions between private individuals.
Prices, trade terms and margins in the professional used-car market, including prices at authorised or other commercial dealers, are not part of the valuation basis.
§ 7. Force majeure and circumstances beyond our control
autovurdering.com is not liable for failure or delay caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
This may include disruptions or outages in mobile or communication networks, postal delays or errors, and extraordinary or sudden swings in the used-car market that may affect current market value.
§ 8. Assumptions for the valuation
The valuation assumes that the vehicle is in ordinary and normal condition for its age, mileage and other stated circumstances, and that the vehicle has passed periodic inspection within the last year.
It is also assumed that any purchase or sale of the vehicle takes place between two or more private individuals.
Price levels in the professional car market or prices, margins and other conditions at commercial dealers are therefore not taken into account.
§ 9. Right to decline a valuation
autovurdering.com reserves the right to decline a valuation if the vehicle's character, age, rarity, special history or other circumstances mean we cannot establish a sufficiently reliable market value.
§ 10. Formation of the agreement
The agreement between autovurdering.com and the customer is considered concluded when the customer has provided the necessary information, accepted these terms by checking the relevant box, and then clicked the "ORDER VALUATION" button.
§ 11. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted via the contact form on autovurdering.com and are handled by autovurdering.com.
§ 12. Customer information
autovurdering.com and Caarfax Systems LLC are not liable for errors in the valuation that are wholly or partly caused by incorrect, incomplete or misleading information provided by the customer.
The valuation is based on the vehicle information provided by the customer when ordering.
§ 13. Sale of services
All services are sold by Caarfax Systems LLC or by an authorised reseller of Caarfax Systems LLC.
§ 14. Agreement basis
No further written information or terms regarding the agreement are provided beyond the information and provisions set out in these terms.
§ 15. Processing of personal data
The customer's information is processed and stored in accordance with applicable EU rules on processing and storage of personal data.
The information may be used for marketing and newsletters from related companies and partners.
§ 16. Limitation of liability
Caarfax Systems LLC is not liable for financial loss or other damage the customer may suffer as a result of using the delivered valuation or service.
